Adam: do you have a boyfriend?
Evelyn: No. I don’t want a boyfriend.

Evelyn: But I don’t love you.

Evelyn: So how do I discern that your words are true?

Evelyn: But how can I be sure that you are faithful and honest?

Evelyn: But why me? There are so many girls out there.

Evelyn: But what do you see in me, that makes you love me?

Evelyn: But really, I’m not that beautiful … you’re exaggerating.
Adam: Proverbs 31:30 “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
Evelyn: What will happen if I say yes?
Adam: Genesis 2:24 “That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.”
Evelyn: How is it that you know so many Scriptures?
Adam: Joshua 1:8 “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. “
Evelyn: Wooow, I can see you really love God.
Adam: Psalm 34:8 “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him!”
Evelyn: Hmmm. Ok please just give me some time to think about this.
Adam: Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
