As a beliver we all have a duty to pray to God regularly, it is a command from God and God expects us to commune with him regularly if we are his children.

It helps to rejuvenate our relationship and closeness to God.
WHAT IS GODS WORD ABOUT PRAYER
The bible says in luke 18 from verse 1 that men ought always to pray and not to faint, this is the message by Christ himself, which goes to show how important prayer is in the life of any believer.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD ONE PRAY
It is recommended that we pray daily, that’s why Christ said in the lords pray, “give us this day, our daily bread”, it is the days prayer that makes God to give us the strength for the day. As the bread in that scripture also means grace and life, as Christ is refered to as the bread of life, so the more we pray we more of christ we have in us.
